1. What we collect

To run Vesica we collect: account details (email, first name, age, gender identity and match preferences); your profile content (bio, photos, prompts, city, occupation); your Love Language Quiz results and Academy progress, including module scores and certification status; matching activity (likes, passes, matches); messages and Love Coupons you exchange with matches; purchase records for subscriptions and Pearls; and basic device and usage data needed to keep the service working and safe.

2. What we do with it

We use your information to operate the Academy and certification, show your profile to other certified members per your preferences, deliver messages, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to safety reports, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information, and we never use engagement tactics that misrepresent activity (for example, fake "someone liked you" notifications).

3. Who processes it

Your data is stored and processed by our infrastructure providers: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) and Stripe (payments — we never see or store full card numbers). We share data with no other third parties except when required by law or to respond to genuine safety emergencies.

4. Sensitive information

Some optional features (relationship structure, desires and elective preferences) involve information about your relationships and preferences. These are visible only as you configure them, are never used for advertising, and can be removed by you at any time in the app.

5. Safety reports

When you report another member, we store the report and review it within 24 hours. The reported member is not told who reported them. We may act on reports by warning, restricting, or removing accounts.

6. Your rights (including California/CCPA and GDPR)

You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Deletion is available directly in the app (Profile → Delete My Account & Data) and erases your profile, certification, matches, messages, and account. California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we don't sell data) without discrimination. EU/UK residents may also exercise portability and objection rights. 7. Age requirement

Vesica is strictly for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and accounts found to belong to minors are deleted immediately. Report suspected underage accounts in-app or to the email above.

8. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, personal data is erased from production systems; residual copies in encrypted backups expire within [30] days. Safety reports may be retained in de-identified form to protect other members.

9. Changes

We'll post updates here and notify you in-app of material changes before they take effect.
